If thetelephone works correctly, theconnection between the system andthe extension must be repaired.Use a 2 wire cord.Set the A-A1 relay switch on thetelephone to the “OUT” or “OFF”position.Take the extension and plug it intoanother extension port that isworking. If the telephone does notwork, replace the phone.Turn the Power Switch “OFF” andthen “ON”.Use a shielded cable as theconnection wire between thesystem and amplifier. A shortshielded cable is recommended.Decrease the output level of theexternal music source by using thevolume control on the musicsource.Enter an outside line accessnumber (9 or 0, 81 through 86) inprogramming.Turn the Power Switch “OFF”.Fix the shorted part, then turn thePower Switch “ON”.
