WIRELESS USER GUIDE (LARGE MODEL)Note: The TALK button is represented by a silver button depicting a small greenhandset. The HANG-UP button is represented by a silver button depicting asmall red handset. The JOYSTICK is the silver multi-directional pointer inbetween these two buttons.Important: If wireless battery is permitted to completely run out, the unit will notoperate again after recharge unless first powered up. To power up, press andhold the HANG-UP button for at least 5 seconds.PLACING A CALL1) Press the green TALK button.2) The system will provide you with a free line.3) Dial the phone number you desire.ANSWERING A CALL1) While the phone is ringing, press the green TALK button.2) Speak to the caller.SPEAKERPHONE1) At any time, press the TALK button once for a normal call or twice for aspeakerphone call. Press TALK to toggle between normal and speaker.PLACING A CALL ON HOLD1) Press the silver HOLD button located under the TALK button.2) The call will be placed on hold. You can take the call off hold on anyphone.3) Press the red HANG-UP button to hang up the wireless phone.RETRIEVING A CALL THAT IS ON HOLD1) The silver joystick in the center of the phone is the primary means ofnavigating menus.2) Toggle the joystick to the right.3) The display will list the phone lines. The call on hold will be indicated witha small flashing circle.4) Use the joystick to highlight the line on hold.5) Press the TALK button to retrieve call.6) The system will provide you with this line that was on hold.7) HINT: At step 4, you can alternatively press a keypad digit to selectdesired line.SELECTING A SPECIFIC LINE1) Toggle the joystick to the right.2) The display will list the available phone lines, features or gates.3) Use the joystick to scroll and highlight the desired line.4) Press the TALK button.5) The system will provide you with this line.
