94 CY-VHD9500U CY-VHD9500U 95Notes on Discs/CardsNotes on CD-Rs/RWs≥ You may have trouble playing back someCD-R/RW discs recorded on CD recorders(CD-R/RW drives), either due to their recordingcharacteristics or dirt, fi ngerprints, scratches, etc.on the disc surface.≥ CD-R/RW discs are less resistant to hightemperatures and high humidity than ordinarymusic CDs. Leaving them inside a car forextended periods may damage them and makeplayback impossible.≥ Some CD-R/RWs cannot be played backsuccessfully thanks to incompatibility amongwriting software, a CD recorder (CD-R/RW drive)and the discs.≥ This player cannot play the CD-R/RW discs if thesession is not closed.≥ This player cannot play the CD-R/RW discs whichcontain data other than CD-DA or MP3 data.≥ Be sure to observe the instructions of CD-R/RWdisc for handling it.MaintenanceHow to hold the disc or card≥ Do not touch the play surface or the terminalsurface.≥ Do not scratch the disc or card.≥ Do not bend the disc or card.≥ When not in use, keep the disc or card in the case.Label sideDo not use discs that fit any of the descriptionsgiven below.
