Each fan hasfull speed control for background and boost ventilation rates.To recover heat from the extract air the heat exchanger blockis utilised. The heat exchanger can recover up to 95% of thenormally wasted heat.If the MVHR unit has integral automatic HX bypass (AB modelsonly), the bypass damper shall open automatically via a waxactuator allowing the air to bypass the heat exchanger to deliverfresh filtered air during the warmer months.2.1 Code Description1 2 - 3 - 4 - 5MRXBOX AB - ECO3 - 1Z - OH1. All mains wiring must be inaccordance with the current I.E.E. Regulations, or the appropriatestandards. Ensure that the mains supply (Voltage, Frequency andPhase) complies with the rating label.Please allow a minimum of 430mm in front of the MRXBOX-ECO3unit and 360m in front of the MRXBOXAB-ECO3.The fan must be installed indoors, on a suitable wall awayfrom direct sources of frost, heat and water spray or moisturegeneration. For a vibration-free result the unit must be mounted toa solid wall.The unit must remain switched on at all times to maintainventilation within the dwelling. Turning the unit off will causelong term damage to the unit and building fabric.3.1 Transport FixingsTo prevent damage during transportation the product is shippedwith securing fixings, these can be found front and centre of theenclosure top panel (Figure 3). These must be removed beforeuse, failure to do so will result in excessive vibration and noise.The screws removed can be discarded and replaced with rubbercaps provided.3 Transport Fixings Spigot fixing plateTransportation fixings3.2 Wall MountingThe unit is designed for wall mounting on a solid wall only, agypsum block/plasterboard wall will not suffice.Examples of suitable installation are shown overleaf. The wallbrackets supplied should be secured to the wall using suitablefixings (supplied by others) as per the dimensions given in figure4. The head of the chosen fixing should protrude no more than8mm from the wall bracket. The enclosure assembly can thenbe lifted using suitable equipment and moved into position so itis sitting directly on the wall brackets (ensuring the rear panel ofthe enclosure is not in contact with the wall bracket fixings). Theenclosure can be secured to the wall brackets using the 4x M8fixings supplied.No part of enclosure should be in contact with the buildingstructure, the only components that should be in contact are thewall mounting brackets.Care must be taken to ensure the unit is installed true in all 3dimensions.
