37Chapter 12 . Google12. 9 KeepGoogle Keep is a note-taking service, offering a variety of tools for taking notes, including text, list, drawing,audio, and image.Compose a note1. On the Home screen, tap Google -> Keep.2. Choose a note type:• Text: Tap Take a note... and compose a new note. Tap Title to add a subject for your note; tap note toedit the content.• List: Tap and edit the content. Tap List item to add more items for your note.• Drawing: Tap and draw your new note. You can choose the different paintbrush on the bottomto draw your pictures. Select one kind of paintbrush and touch it once to choose it, and touch it twiceto choose the color of your paintbrush. To revise the picture, you can use the eraser to erase theunwanted parts.• Audio: Tap and speak the contents you want to keep as a note.• Image: Tap , you can choose to take a new photo or select a picture from your local album and thenyou can start editing.3. For all the note types above, when on editing screen, you can do more options for the note:• Pin button: Tap to fix your note on the top of your Notes screen. The note pinned cannot be moveduntil you remove its pin button.• Add a reminder: Tap to set the reminder time and / or reminder place.• Add other contents: Tap to add pictures, drawing, recording and / or checkboxes for the note.4. When finishing composing, tap -> Archive to save the note.Delete notes1. On the Home screen, tap Google -> Keep, touch and hold the notes you want to delete, and tap-> Delete.2. Tap -> Trash, these notes deleted will be kept in it for 7 days.Set a label for your notesOn the Home screen, tap Google -> Keep, touch and hold the notes and tap to add a label.Search notesOn the Home screen, tap Google -> Keep -> and enter the key words to quickly find the note you want.
