Always be sure that the tool is switched off andunplugged before carrying out any work on thetool.3. Keep guards in place.4. Use only wheels with correct size and wheelshaving a maximum operating speed at least ashigh as the highest No Load Speed marked onthe tool’s nameplate.5. Check the wheel carefully for cracks or damagebefore operation. Replace cracked or damagedwheel immediately.6. Observe the instructions of the manufacturer forcorrect mounting and use of wheels. Handle andstore wheels with care.7. Use only flanges specified for this tool.8. Do not damage the spindle or the flange (espe-cially the installing surface). Damage to theseparts could result in wheel breakage.9. Before using the tool on an actual workpiece,test run the tool at the highest no load speed forat least 30 seconds in a safe position. Stopimmediately if there is any vibration or wobblingthat could indicate poor installation or a poorlybalanced wheel. Check the tool to determine thecause.10. Check that the workpiece is properly supported.11. Hold the tool firmly.12. Keep hands away from rotating parts.13. Make sure the wheel is not contacting the work-piece before the switch is turned on.14. Do not use cutting off wheel for side grinding.15. Watch out for flying sparks. Hold the tool so thatsparks fly away from you and other persons orflammable materials.16. Pay attention that the wheel continues to rotateafter the tool is switched off.17. Do not touch the workpiece immediately afteroperation; it may be extremely hot and couldburn your skin.18. Position the tool so that the power cord alwaysstays behind the machine during operation.19. If working place is extremely hot and humid, orbadly polluted by conductive dust, use a short-circuit breaker (30 mA) to assure operatorsafety.20. Do not use the tool on any materials containingasbestos.21. Do not use water or cutting lubricant.22. Ensure that ventilation openings are kept clearwhen working in dusty conditions. If it shouldbecome necessary to clear dust, first discon-nect the tool from the mains supply ( use nonmetallic objects ) and avoid damaging internalparts.23.
