Clean only with a dry cloth.7. Do not block any ventilationopenings. Install in accordance withthe manufacturer’s instructions.8. Do not install near any heatsources such as radiators, heat reg-isters, stoves or other apparatus(including amplifiers) that produceheat.9. Do not defeat the safety purposeof the polarized or grounding-typeplug. A polarized plug has twoblades with one wider than theother. A grounding-type plug hastwo blades and a third groundingprong. The wide blade or the thirdprong are provided for your safety. Ifthe provided plug does not fit intoyour outlet, consult an electricianfor replacement of the obsoleteoutlet.10. Protect the power cord frombeing walked on or pinched, particu-larly at plugs, convenience recepta-cles and the point where they exitfrom the apparatus.11. Only use attachments/acces-sories specified by the manufac-turer.12. Use only with the cart,stand, tripod, bracket ortable specified by themanufacturer or soldwith the apparatus. When acart is used, use caution when mov-ing the cart/apparatus combinationto avoid injury from tip-over.13. Unplug this apparatus duringlightning storms or when unused forlong periods of time.14. Refer all servicing to qualifiedservice personnel. Servicing isrequired when the apparatus hasbeen damaged in any way, suchas power-supply cord or plug isdamaged, liquid has been spilledor objects have fallen into theapparatus, the apparatus has beenexposed to rain or moisture, doesnot operate normally, or has beendropped.15. Do not use attachments notrecommended by the productmanufacturer, as they may causehazards.16. This product should be operatedonly from the type of power sourceindicated on the marking label. Ifyou are not sure of the type ofpower supply to your home, consultyour product dealer or local powercompany. For products intended tooperate from battery power, or othersources, refer to the operatinginstructions.17. If an outside antenna or cablesystem is connected to the product,be sure the antenna or cable systemis grounded so as to provide someprotection against voltage surgesand built-up static charges. Article810 of the National Electrical Code,ANSI/NFPA 70, providesinformation with regard to propergrounding of the mast and support-ing structure, grounding of the lead-in wire to an antenna discharge unit,size of grounding conductors, loca-tion of antenna-discharge unit, con-nection to grounding electrodes,and requirements for the groundingelectrode. See Figure A.18. An outside antenna systemshould not be located in the vicinityof overhead power lines or otherelectric light or power circuits, orwhere it can fall into such powerlines or circuits. When installing anoutside antenna system, extremecare should be taken to keep fromtouching such power lines or circuits,as contact with them mightbe fatal.19. Do not overload wall outlets,extension cords, or integralconvenience receptacles, as thiscan result in a risk of fire orelectric shock.20. Never push objects of any kindinto this product through openings,as they may touch dangerous volt-age points or short-out parts thatcould result in a fire or electricshock. Never spill liquid of any kindon the product.21. The apparatus shall not beexposed to dripping or splashing,and no objects filled with liquids,such as vases, shall be placed onthe apparatus.22. Do not attempt to service thisproduct yourself, as opening orremoving covers may expose you todangerous voltage or other hazards.Refer all servicing to qualified ser-vice personnel.23. When replacement parts arerequired, be sure the service tech-nician has used replacement partsspecified by the manufacturer orthat have the same characteristicsas the original part. Unauthorizedsubstitutions may result in fire, elec-tric shock or other hazards.24. Upon completion of any serviceor repairs to this product, ask theservice technician to perform safetychecks to determine that the prod-uct is in proper operating condition.25.
