To adjust the horizontal and vertical centering, enter the GEO mode by receiving a cross-hatch pattern. Select H.CENTER to adjust the horizontal centering and V.CENTER to adjust the vertical centering. Use the MENU button to exit the GEO mode after adjustments.
To adjust the focus, receive a mono-scope pattern and then adjust the focus control volume located on the FBT (Flyback Transformer) to obtain a clear pattern.
To adjust the VCR sound output, connect the RCA line to the rear audio output terminal. Then, connect the CH2 on the oscillograph to the RCA line and adjust the Azimuth to maximize the signal on CH2.
If there is a horizontal line at the bottom of the screen during VCR playback, it indicates that the time adjustment is not proper. To fix this, press REC during the SN-2 is being played. The CPU of the TV will adjust the time automatically. The time shown on the oscillograph should be between 6H (379.8US) and 7H (443.1US). If the time is not within this range, press REC again until the adjustment is correct.
