Due to the higher temperature, the bottom compartmentis not recommended for long term storage as it will decrease storageshelf life.Defrost whenever the frost becomes 1/4” thick. Never use a sharp ormetallic instrument to remove the frost as it may damage the coolingcoils. (A punctured coil will void the warranty.)Turn the temperature control to 0 position and unplug the unit.Defrosting usually takes a few hours.
