Check with a qualified electrician if you arenot sure this appliance is properly ground-ed.5. DO NOT ground to a gas line.6. DO NOT ground to a cold-water pipe.7. Freezer is designed to operate on a 115Volt, 15 amp., 60 cycle line. There shouldbe a separate, grounded circuit serving thisappliance only.8. DO NOT modify plug on power cord. If plugdoes not fit electrical outlet, have properoutlet installed by a qualified electrician.9. DO NOT use a two-prong adapter, exten-sion cord or power strip.10. DO NOT tamper with freezer controls.11. DO NOT service or replace any part of freez-er unless specifically recommended inOwner’s Manual or published user-repairinstructions. DO NOT attempt service ifinstructions are not understood or if they arebeyond personal skill level.12. Always disconnect freezer from electricalsupply before attempting any service.Disconnect power cord by grasping theplug, not the cord.13. Install freezer according to InstallationInstructions. All connections for water, elec-trical power and grounding must complywith local codes and be made by licensedpersonnel when required.14. Keep your freezer in good condition.Bumping or dropping freezer can damagefreezer or cause freezer to malfunction orleak. If damage occurs, have freezerchecked by qualified service technician.15. Replace worn power cords and/or looseplugs.16. Always read and follow manufacturer’sstorage and ideal environment instructionsfor items being stored in freezer.17. Do not use any electrical device or anysharp instrument when defrosting yourfreezer.18. Do not operate the freezer in the presenceof explosive fumes.19. Do not store flammable substances near orin this appliance.20. After your freezer is in operation, do nottouch the cold surfaces in the freezer com-partment, particularly when hands aredamp or wet. Skin may adhere to theseextremely cold surfaces.21. This freezer should not be recessed orbuilt-in an enclosed cabinet. It is designedfor freestanding installation only.22.
