To change the input source, use the SOURCE button on the front panel. This will allow you to select from various input signals such as PC, COMPONENT, DVD, HDMI, DTV, TV, SCART, or S-VIDEO.
You can adjust the volume using the VOL- and VOL+ buttons on the front panel. Pressing VOL- will decrease the volume, while pressing VOL+ will increase it. These buttons can also be used to navigate left and right in the on-screen display (OSD) menu.
To connect your personal computer to the Haier LT15R1BW LCD-TV using a VGA cable, follow these steps: 1. Ensure your computer has a VGA connector. 2. Turn off the power of both the LCD-TV and the PC. 3. Connect a D type 15-pin VGA cable to the VGA video interface connector on the PC and then to the VGA IN connector on the back of the LCD-TV. Tighten the screws on the VGA connectors. 4. Connect the audio cable to the audio input on the back of your LCD-TV. 5. Turn on the power of the LCD-TV first, then turn on the power of the PC. 6. Press the SOURCE button to set the video input mode of the LCD-TV to PC. 7. Adjust the resolution, refresh rate, brightness, and contrast on the menu until the picture is clear.
To increase the volume, press the V+ button. To decrease the volume, press the V- button.
To perform an automatic search for channels, press the D.MENU button to enter the main menu, then select 'Installation' and press OK. Next, select 'Automatic Search' and press OK. Confirm by selecting 'Yes' and pressing OK. The search will take a few minutes and you can cancel it by pressing the EXIT button.
To lock a channel, press the / button to select the channel, then press the / button to select the Lock option. Press the OK button to set the lock. The lock indicator will appear alongside the highlighted channel. To remove the lock, repeat the operation and the indicator will disappear. The default lock key is 0000.
To set a timer, press the MENU button to access the main menu. Select 'Timers' and press the OK button to enter the sub-menu. In the Programme Timers section, you can add a new timer, modify an existing one, or delete a timer. You can set the timer to be triggered once, daily, or weekly. Up to 10 timers can be created, and no conflicting timers can be set.
The 'Last Memory' function allows the DVD player to remember the last chapter you were watching. When you turn the DVD player back on, it will resume from the chapter you were watching when you turned it off, provided that the 'Last Memory' setting is turned on.
The Haier LT15R1BW can play DVD, CD-R, CD-RW, HDCD, JPEG, CD+G, Kodak CD, and W MA discs.
