To record a program, first prepare to record the program by following the instructions on page 20. Then, follow the steps to record the program as outlined on page 20 and 21.
To ensure safety, do not expose the television to rain or moisture, do not trap the power supply cord under the television, do not stand on or lean on the television, do not place it on an unstable surface, do not drop or push objects into the cabinet slots or openings, and do not block the ventilation holes. Additionally, disconnect the AC power cord when the television is not in use for an extended period.
Locate the TV in a room where light does not strike the screen directly. Total darkness or a reflection on the screen can cause eyestrain. Soft and indirect lighting is recommended for comfortable viewing.
In TV mode, press the CH+ or CH- button on the front control panel or the remote control to change the channel up and down.
To connect a DVD player using a SCART cable, connect a SCART cable from the SCART socket on the TV to the DVD player. Then, press the SOURCE button on the remote, use the keys to select SCART, and press the OK button. The TV will default to the SCART connection when the TV is switched on.
To insert batteries into the Haier LET46C800HF remote control, follow these steps: 1. Remove the battery cover. 2. Insert 2 AAA 1.5V batteries, ensuring the polarity (+ or -) matches the marks inside the unit. 3. Mount the battery cover back on.
To access a specific teletext page, press the 'TEXT' button to enter teletext mode. Then, use the number keys (0 to 9) to enter the page number you want to view. For example, to view page 120, enter 120. The page number will be displayed at the top left of the screen, and the page will be shown once the counter stops.
If there is no signal for 15 minutes and the Auto Sleep feature is set to ON, the TV will automatically go into sleep mode. The clock time can be automatically obtained from the DTV system.
To format the disk, select the 'Format disk' option from the menu. Choose the 'High Speed FS' format mode for faster recording. Follow the on-screen instructions and do not unplug the USB device during the formatting process. The formatting process will take some time, and you will see a message indicating that the process is complete.
