English - 40 -The TV sorts all stored stations in the Channel List.You can edit this channel list, set favourites or setactive stations to be listed by using the Channel Listoptions.Configuring Parental SettingsTo prohibit viewing of certain programmes, channels andmenus can be locked by using the parental control system.To display parental lock menu options, the PIN numbershould be entered. The factory default PIN number is0000. After coding the correct PIN number, parentalsettings menu will be displayed.Menu Lock: Menu lock setting enables or disablesthe menu access.Maturity Lock: When set, this option gets the maturityinformation from the broadcast and if this maturitylevel is disabled, disables access to the broadcast.Child Lock: When Child Lock is set, the TV can onlybe controlled by the remote control. In this case thecontrol panel buttons will not work.Set PIN: Defines a new PIN number.Note: If the Country option is set to France, you can use 4725as the default code.Electronic Programme Guide (EPG)Some, but not all channels send information aboutthe current and next programmes. Timer. The recording will becancelled.Set Timer / Delete TimerAfter you have selected a programme in the EPGmenu, press the OK button. Select the Set Timeron Event option and press the OK button. Youcan set a timer for future programmes. To cancelan already set timer, highlight that programme andpress the OK button. Then select “Delete Timer”option. The timer will be cancelled.Note: It is not possible to record two channels at thesame time.CONNECTIVITYWired ConnectivityTo Connect to a Wired Network• You must have a modem/router connected to anactive broadband connection.• Ensure that Nero Media Home software is installedto your PC (for DLNA function). To switch on the TV from standby mode, you can either press the power button, P+ / P- or a numeric button on the remote control. Alternatively, you can press the side function switch until the TV comes on from standby.

To connect an external device using HDMI, ensure both the TV and the external device are switched off. Use an HDMI to HDMI cable to connect the two units. To select the HDMI input, press the SOURCE button on the remote control. Each press will cycle through the available inputs, and the on-screen menu will confirm your selection.

To access and use the teletext feature, press the “ ” button to enter. Press again to activate mix mode. Press once more to exit. Follow the instructions displayed on the digital teletext screen.

To connect a PC to the TV using the SIDE AV connection, you will need to use the SIDE AV CONNECTION cable’s WHITE & RED inputs for audio.

When an external device is connected via the SCART socket, the TV will automatically switch to AV mode. However, note that when receiving DTV channels (Mpeg4 H.264) or while in Media Browser mode, output will not be available via the SCART socket.

The Movie Sense feature optimizes the TV’s video settings for motion images to improve quality and readability. You can set Movie Sense to Low, Med, High, or Off. When set to Low, Med, or High, a demo mode is available that divides the screen into two sections, showing the movie sense activity and the normal TV screen settings.

To adjust the volume level, use the Volume setting in the Sound Menu.

To connect wireless sound devices, press OK to open the Audio Link menu screen. From there, you can discover and connect sound devices to your TV wirelessly via Bluetooth.
