The Haier LEF65V200S supports various video formats including .dat, .mpg, .mpeg, .vob, .mkv, .mp4, .mov, .avi, and .flv. Specific codecs and resolutions are supported for each format, such as MPEG1, MPEG2, H.264, VC1, and more.

To switch on the TV from standby mode, you can either press the power button, P+ / P- or a numeric button on the remote control. Alternatively, you can press the side function switch until the TV comes on from standby.

To connect an external device using HDMI, ensure both the TV and the external device are switched off. Use an HDMI to HDMI cable to connect the two units. To select the HDMI input, press the SOURCE button on the remote control. Each press will cycle through the available inputs, and the on-screen menu will confirm your selection.

Follow the instructions provided in the 'First Time Installation - USB Connections' section on page 33 of the manual.

To access and use the teletext feature, press the “ ” button to enter. Press again to activate mix mode. Press once more to exit. Follow the instructions displayed on the digital teletext screen.

To connect a PC to the TV using the SIDE AV connection, you will need to use the SIDE AV CONNECTION cable’s WHITE & RED inputs for audio.

When an external device is connected via the SCART socket, the TV will automatically switch to AV mode. However, note that when receiving DTV channels (Mpeg4 H.264) or while in Media Browser mode, output will not be available via the SCART socket.

The Movie Sense feature optimizes the TV’s video settings for motion images to improve quality and readability. You can set Movie Sense to Low, Med, High, or Off. When set to Low, Med, or High, a demo mode is available that divides the screen into two sections, showing the movie sense activity and the normal TV screen settings.

To adjust the volume level, use the Volume setting in the Sound Menu.

To connect wireless sound devices, press OK to open the Audio Link menu screen. From there, you can discover and connect sound devices to your TV wirelessly via Bluetooth.
