A vertical gray line (V Dim) can be caused by a sunken TCP, TCP lead cracking, ACF bonding short, an awful environment, or something electric entering the LCD.
A horizontal line (H L/D) that is either light or dark forever can be caused by a misalignment between the TCP and the panel, panel failure, or TCP failure.
The cacophony sound when turning the panel is likely due to mechanical noise from the backlight unit. This could be caused by a ripple or a bad connection between the wire and the electrode.
