To set up the TV for the first time, follow the instructions provided in the 'First Time Installation' section on page 15 of the manual.

To clean the screen and cabinet of the Haier LE55U6500U TV, first remove the power cable from the power socket. Then, wipe the TV with a soft, dry, dust-free cloth.

During thunderstorms, unplug the power cable and aerial/antenna cable to prevent damage to your TV and any other devices connected to it.

To import channel parameters from a USB disk, insert the USB disk into the TV, select 'CH Table Import' from the menu, and press OK. The file name should be MS6488_HOTELMODE_TABLE.json.

To lock the main menu, you need to enable the 'OSD lock' feature. To unlock it, press the 'menu' button followed by '1001' to enter the 'MODE HOTEL' and unlock it.

If there is a black bar on the top and bottom of the screen, you can change the aspect ratio to zoom to eliminate the bars.
