To perform a manual search for TV channels, press MENU on the remote control unit or MENU on the TV's front panel to display the main menu. Then, press / to select the Channel menu, and press / to select the Channel Edit option. Press / to enter the submenu, and then press / to select the Manual Search option. Finally, press / to start the manual search. The search will automatically stop and store the program onto the current channel upon finding a program. You may stop the search by pressing OK or MENU.
To fine-tune a channel, press MENU on the remote control unit or MENU on the TV's front panel to display the main menu. Then, press / to select the Channel menu, and press / to select the Channel Edit option. Press / to enter the submenu, and then press / to select the Fine Tune option. Press / to start UP or DOWN fine tuning until you obtain a relatively good picture effect. The fine tuning function is for improving the picture effect when it is not good enough.
To start an auto search for channels, press MENU on the remote control to display the main menu. Select the Channel menu, then choose the Auto Search option. Press OK to enter the submenu, select the Storage from option, set the found from which to be stored, and then select the Auto Search option again. Press OK to enter the auto search menu, select the Confirm option, and press OK to start the auto search.
To exchange the current channel with another channel, press MENU on the remote control or the TV's front panel to display the main menu. Select the Channel menu, then choose the Exchange option. In the submenu, select the To Channel option and set the channel you want to exchange with. Move the cursor to the Exchange option and press OK to start the exchange.
You can change the channel by directly entering the channel number using the numeric keypad on the remote control. For double-digit or three-figure channel numbers, press the numeric buttons continuously for three seconds. Alternatively, you can use the P+/P- buttons to select a channel number in increasing or decreasing order.
To adjust the volume, press the VOL-/+ buttons on the remote control or the front of the TV set. The volume level will be displayed automatically on the TV screen and can be adjusted within the range of 0 to 100.
To use the sleep function, press MENU on the remote control or the TV's front panel. Navigate to the Time menu and select the Sleep option. Use the arrow keys to set your desired sleep time from the available options. The TV will automatically enter standby mode upon reaching the preset time. You can also use the Sleep key on the remote control to set or clear the sleep time.
To set the TV to automatically turn on or off at a specific time, press MENU on the remote control unit or the TV's front panel to display the main menu. Select the Time menu, then choose the On Time or Off Time option. Press / to enter the setting screen, select ON or OFF, and set the hour and minute. Press OK or MENU to confirm.
To set the TV to automatically go to a specific channel when it turns on at the preset time, press MENU on the remote control unit or the TV's front panel to display the main menu. Select the Time menu, then choose the On Channel option. Press / to set the desired channel or select OFF to disable this function.
