The 'TV-Y7' rating means that the program is directed towards older children and may include comedic violence, mild physical content, or elements that could frighten children under the age of 7.

If you see artifacts or a bright/dark dot on the screen when you turn on your Haier LC-3710D TV, it is normal and does not affect the normal function of the display. This can happen if the temperature of the TV set is rather low, or if there are nonconforming pixels on the panel.
