To prepare the TV for wall mounting, follow the base disassembly method and preparation for the wall mount bracket as described on page 6 of the manual.
If you encounter any problems with the TV, refer to the qualified service personnel for servicing. Do not attempt to open the TV or remove any covers, as there are no user-serviceable parts inside and it may pose a risk of electric shock.
If the remote control is not working properly, ensure there is no object between the remote control and the remote sensor of the TV set. Also, avoid using the remote control in direct sunlight or other strong light sources, as this can interfere with the signal. Additionally, do not expose the remote control to direct heat or damp places, as this may cause potential damage.
To turn the TV on or off, press the power switch on the remote control or the TV set. If the TV is in standby status, pressing the power switch will turn it on. Pressing it again will put the TV back into standby mode.
You can adjust the volume by pressing the VOL+/- buttons on the remote control. To select a TV channel, use the CH+/- buttons or enter the channel number directly using the number buttons on the remote control.
To adjust the picture settings, press the MENU button to open the menu. Use the CH+/- button to select the 'PICTURE' menu, then use the VOL+/- button to enter. Use the CH+/- button to select the specific setting you want to adjust (e.g., CONTRAST, BRIGHTNESS, etc.), and use the VOL+/- button to make the adjustment. Press the MENU button to return to the previous menu or exit the menu display.
To adjust the picture settings, press the MENU button to select the PICTURE menu. Use the CH+/- button to select the item you want to adjust (such as Contrast, Brightness, Saturation, Sharpness, or Hue). Then, use the VOL+/- button to adjust the selected item to your preference. For example, you can adjust Contrast from Weak to Strong, Brightness from Dark to Bright, and so on.
To switch between different input sources, press the TV/AV button on the remote control to enter the display menu. Then, use the CH+/- button or press the TV/AV button again to select the desired source such as TV, AV1, AV2, S-VIDEO, YPbPr, VGA, or HDMI.
To use your Haier LC-3210D TV as a computer display, follow these steps: 1. Connect the VGA output port of your computer to the VGA port on the TV. 2. Connect the audio cable from your computer to the VGA AUDIO IN port on the TV. 3. Press the TV/AV button on the TV remote to select VGA mode. 4. Turn on your computer, and the screen image should display on the TV.
A snapping sound from the cabinet of the TV set can be heard occasionally. This is normal and is caused by temperature changes of the operating environment and does not affect the operation of the set.
