You should leave at least 4” to 6” free all around the TV. Do not place the TV on a carpet.

Installation should be carried out by qualified servicemen to ensure safety. Improper installation may render the set unsafe.

The 'POWER' button is used to turn the TV set on or off. Pressing this button will toggle the TV between standby mode and active mode.

You can connect an external audio source to the TV using the AUDIO IN terminal, which is designed for VGA audio input.

The FREEZE function allows you to freeze or unfreeze a piece of screen.

If the stand does not fit securely into the clip groove, ensure that you have aligned it correctly and that there are no obstructions. Double-check that you are using the correct screws from the accessory box and that they are properly tightened.

To turn on your Haier L42F6 TV, press the On/Off key on the remote control while the TV is in standby mode. To turn it off, press the On/Off key again to enter standby mode.

The 'Auto Picture' mode selects smart picture modes. If you choose any mode except for 'Personal Mode,' preset values will be applied to items such as contrast, brightness, color, tint, sharpness, noise reduction, Color Temp, dynamic contrast, dynamic backlight, and color enhancement.

To fine-tune the channel frequency, press the 'OK' key to enter the fine-tune sub-menu. Use the / keys to adjust the frequency and press 'OK' to confirm.

To move a channel from your favorite list, follow these steps: 1. While watching TV, press the 'OK' key to show the channel option menu. 2. Press 'OK' to choose 'Show favorite ch.' 3. Press the / key to select the favorite list and press 'OK' for entry. 4. Press the / key to select the channel you would like to move away from the list. 5. Press 'OK' to choose. 6. Press 'OK' again to show the channel option menu. 7. Press the / key to choose 'Unmark as fav.'
