Haier L26V6-A8 Owner's Manual

To turn on or off the Haier L26V6-A8 TV, use the Power On/Off function as described in the Operation instructions section on page 9 of the manual.

When cleaning the television, make sure to unplug it from the power supply. Use a soft fabric and avoid using chemicals. Ensure that no water drops get into the product.

During a rainstorm or thunderstorm, disconnect the television from both the power supply and the antenna to avoid electric shocks or fire hazards.

To load batteries into the remote controller, slide open the cover of the battery compartment on the back of the remote controller. Load two 5# alkaline batteries in the compartment, ensuring the plus and minus poles are aligned with the respective marks. Then, replace the cover of the battery compartment.

If the television cannot be turned on or off with the remote controller, make sure there is no obstacle between the remote controller and the television set. Strong light may interfere with the signals, so change your position to operate the remote controller effectively.

To change the sound volume, press the VOL+/- button.

To display the current program number, color system, and sound system, press the DISPLAY button. The information will appear at the right upper corner of the screen. Press the DISPLAY button again to make the information disappear.

To adjust the picture quality, press the Menu button until the TV menu appears on the screen. From there, you can adjust settings such as Contrast, Brightness, Saturation, Hue, Sharpness, and Backlight. Note that the Hue option is only available in the NTSC system.

To adjust the horizontal (H Position) and vertical (V Position) positions of the display in VGA and DVI modes, select the 'Adjust' function from the menu. This function allows you to modify these parameters as well as other relative settings.
