To select the input source, use the SOURCE button on the front panel. This will allow you to choose from various input signals such as PC, COMPONENT, DVD, HDMI, DTV, TV, SCART, or S-VIDEO.
To adjust the volume, use the VOL- and VOL+ buttons. The VOL- button decreases the volume and moves left in the OSD, while the VOL+ button increases the volume and moves right in the OSD. To navigate the menu, use the CH- and CH+ buttons to select items. Pressing VOL+ or CH+ will enter the selected item.
To switch your TV to PC mode, press the 'PC' button on the remote control.
The 'AUTO AD' button is used to automatically adjust the settings in PC mode.
To connect your PC to the Haier L15TA11W LCD-TV using a VGA cable, follow these steps: 1. Ensure your computer has a VGA connector. 2. Turn off the power of both the LCD-TV and the PC. 3. Connect a D type 15-pin VGA cable to the VGA video interface connector on the PC and the other end to the VGA IN connector on the back of the LCD-TV. Tighten the screws on the VGA connectors. 4. Connect the audio cable to the audio input on the back of your LCD-TV. 5. Turn on the power of the LCD-TV first, then turn on the power of the PC. 6. Press the SOURCE button to set the video input mode of the LCD-TV to PC. 7. Adjust the resolution, refresh rate, brightness, and contrast on the menu until the picture is clear.
To connect a DVD player to the Haier L15TA11W LCD-TV using component video outputs, connect the DVD video outputs (Y, PB, PR) to the COMPONENT (Y, Pb, Pr) IN socket on the TV. Connect the DVD audio outputs to the AUDIO IN jacks on the TV. If your DVD player does not have component video output, use S-Video instead. To use, turn on the DVD player, insert a DVD, and use the SOURCE button on the remote control to select the appropriate input.
You can use the number keys on the remote control to directly select TV channels. For channels 0 to 9, press the -/-- button until - is indicated on the screen and then press the relevant key. For channels greater than 9, press the -/-- button until -- is indicated on the screen and then enter the two digits of the channel number. If you want to select a one-digit channel in this condition, press 0 first and then the one-digit number key.
To switch between the last watched program and the current program, press the SWAP(Q.VIEW) button on the remote control. This will toggle between the two channels, allowing you to easily change between the channel you are using and the channel you used last time.
To adjust the balance of the audio output, enter the audio menu by pressing the P+/P- button. Use the P+/P- button to select the 'BALANCE' option. Then, use the V+/V- button to increase or decrease the balance value. A value towards 100 will make the left speaker sound weaker, while a value towards 0 will make the right speaker sound weaker.
