Haier HL42K Owner's Manual

To switch on/off the TV set, refer to the instructions provided on page 13 of the manual.

To search for channels, follow the instructions provided on page 14 of the manual.

If you hear an abnormal sound from the Haier HL42K TV, you should immediately disconnect the product from the power supply and contact authorized after-sales service for assistance.

If your TV does not turn on when you press the POWER button, first check if the TV is properly connected to a power source. If the connection is secure and the TV still does not turn on, try pressing the POWER button on the front panel again. If the issue persists, you may need to consult the troubleshooting section of the manual or contact customer support.

To connect your PC to the Haier HL42K TV, use the PC Input jack on the rear panel. Connect the monitor output connector from your PC to this jack.

To connect headphones to your Haier HL42K TV, plug a set of headphones into the 3.5mm mini-jack socket located on the rear panel of the set.

If the polarized AC cord does not fit into your AC outlet, do not attempt to file or cut the blade. It is recommended to have an electrician replace the obsolete outlet.

To perform an automatic channel search, press the MENU button on your remote, then use the VOL+/- buttons to select the Tuner menu. Press the CH+/- button to select 'Auto Search' and then press the VOL+/- button to start the search. The TV will automatically preset all channels playing programs in order and backtrack to the 2nd channel. Press the MENU button to stop the search.

To set the clock, press the MENU button and use the VOL+/- buttons to select the Timer menu. Then, press the CH+/- button to select Clock, and use the VOL+/- button to select the hour or minute position. Press the digits button to set the value of the hour or minute. Press the MENU button to return to the previous menu.

To use the on/off time function, press the CH+/- button to select Timer On, then use the VOL+/- button to select the hour or minute position, and press the digits button to set the value of hours or minutes. Next, press the CH+/- button to select On Channel, and use the VOL+/- button to select your desired channel. Repeat the process to set the Timer Off item.
