To use the remote control, refer to section 2.1 of the manual titled 'The Use of Remote Control' on page 6.
To connect the Haier HL32D2 LCD TV, follow the instructions provided in section 2.4 titled 'How to Connect' on page 13.
To turn on the TV, press the 'Power' button on the remote control. The TV will power on and the LED will change to blue and stop flashing. If the TV is already in standby mode, pressing the 'Power' button will turn it on.
To adjust the volume, use the 'VOL+' or 'VOL-' buttons on the remote control. Press 'VOL+' to increase the volume and 'VOL-' to decrease the volume.
You can adjust the bass and treble settings by accessing the Audio menu in TV mode. The bass tone adjustment range is 0 to 63, and the treble tone adjustment range is also 0 to 63. Both settings are enabled by default.
To connect a DVD player for digital video, use the HDMI connector. This is the primary source for digital video such as a DVD multimedia player or set top box.
To connect a VCR, use the AV IN (AV/S-VIDEO) connector. Use the white and red connectors to connect the external audio from the same source. The signal being carried by the S-Video cable and connector, if connected, will take priority over the Video RCA connector (yellow connector).
To remove the VESA BRACKET LCM, unscrew the 2 screws as shown in Fig 4.
To remove the MAIN, POWER, and INVERTER BOARD, unscrew the 17 screws as shown in Fig 5.
If your Haier HL32D2 TV has no power and the LED is off, first check the AC input and ensure the power is turned on. If the power is on, check if the power board is outputting 5V. If it is, check the IR board and LED. If the IR board is faulty, replace it. If the power board is not outputting 5V, replace the power board. If the main board is faulty, replace it.
