The Haier HL26S-A series includes the following models: HL26S A, HL32S A, HL26B A, HL32B A, HL26BG A, and HL32BG A.

If the power cord or plug of the Haier HL26S-A is damaged, you should refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Do not attempt to repair it yourself.

To change the menu language, follow these steps: 1. Choose the TV Input and then press the MENU button. 2. Press the / button to select the Function menu. 3. Press the or OK button and then select the Menu Language. 4. Press the or OK button to select your preferred language (English, Spanish, or French). 5. Press the EXIT button to return to normal viewing or the MENU button to return to the previous menu.

To add a new channel without clearing the existing ones, follow these steps: 1. Press the MENU button and then select the Channel menu. 2. Press the or OK button and then use / button to select Tuner. 3. Press the or OK button to select Cable or Antenna mode. 4. Press the / button to select Add Channel Scan. 5. Press the or OK button to start searching. 6. To cancel searching, press the EXIT/MENU button.

To rename a channel, follow these steps: 1. Press the MENU button and then select the Channel menu. 2. Press the or OK button and then use / button to select Rename. 3. Press the or OK button to enter the Submenu. 4. Press / button to move the cursor and then use / button to change the name. 5. When you are satisfied with your choice, press OK button to return to the previous menu or Press EXIT button to return to TV viewing.

To change the picture mode, press the P.MODE button on the remote control. You can select from four settings: Standard, Vivid, Mild, or Custom. Each setting offers a different viewing experience: Standard for normal mode, Vivid for enhanced movement, Mild for a softer picture, and Custom for personalized adjustments.

To customize the picture settings, press the MENU button on the remote control and use the / button to select the Video menu. Then, use the or OK button to select the desired items such as Contrast, Brightness, Tint, Color, Sharpness, and Color Temperature. Adjust the settings using the / button and press the MENU button to return to the previous menu or the EXIT button to return to TV viewing.

To adjust the DNR settings, press the MENU button, use the / button to select the Function menu, then press the or OK button to select DNR. Use the or OK button to choose between Off, Weak, Medium, or Strong.

To set the sub-ratings, first select the desired TV rating (TV-Y, TV-Y7, TV-G, TV-PG, TV-14, or TV-MA) using the / button and press the / button. A symbol will be displayed for each sub-rating. While the desired sub-rating is selected, press the OK button to go to a sub-rating. To select a different rating, press the / buttons and repeat the process.

If you block a sub-rating in the TV-PG category, the V-chip will automatically block the sub-ratings in TV-14 and TV-MA as well, as these are more restrictive categories.
