Yes, you can connect a computer to the TV using the VGA Video In and VGA Audio In ports. Connect the video cable from the computer to the VGA Video In jack and the audio L/R cables to the VGA Audio In jack.
To connect a DVD player or Set Top Box to the Haier HL26K1 TV using an HDMI cable, follow these steps: 1. Connect the source device to the HDMI port of the TV with an HDMI cable (not supplied with the product). 2. No separate audio connection is necessary. To use, select the HDMI input source in the input source option of the Select Main source menu. If the source device supports Auto HDMI, the output resolution will be automatically set to 1280x720p. If not, adjust the output resolution of the source device to 1280x720p for the best picture quality.
To skip a channel, press the MENU button, use the / button to select the Channel menu, press ENTER, then use the / button to select Channel Skip. Choose a channel and press ENTER to toggle it between skipped and unskipped. Skipped channels can still be accessed by entering the channel number or selecting from the list.

To play both pictures and music from a USB drive, insert the USB drive into the USB input. Select the Music folder and choose the MP3 files to be played. Then select the pictures to be played. Note that the speed of picture operation response might be affected as some files must be read while music is being played. Follow these steps: 1. Press the / button to select the Music folder and press ENTER to enter. 2. Press the / / / button to select the desired music, and then press the ENTER button to play. 3. Press the EXIT button to return to the main menu. 4. Press the / button to select the Picture option and press ENTER to enter. 5. Press the / / / button to select the desired picture, and then press the ENTER button to enter the play interface. 6. Press the USB button to exit USB mode. Do not remove the USB device from the TV until you have exited the USB mode to avoid damaging the USB device.
If the picture operation response is slow while playing music from a USB drive, it is likely because the TV is reading some files while the music is being played. This is a normal occurrence and should not cause concern. To mitigate this, ensure that the USB drive is not overloaded with too many files or that the files are not too large. If the issue persists, try using a different USB drive or reformatting the current one.
