The apparatus should not be exposed to dripping or splashing, and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, should be placed on the apparatus.

If the TV falls down or if foreign materials are put inside the TV box, you should unplug the TV immediately and contact a service professional for assistance.

Your Haier HL22XLT2 is ENERGY STAR 4.1 compliant, which means it is designed to use less energy while helping the environment and saving you money. To ensure efficient operation, follow the instructions in the manual and maintain the unit as recommended.

To use the back panel control, refer to the instructions provided on page 14 of the manual.

If the TV does not turn on, ensure that the power plug is securely connected to the wall outlet socket and that the power cord is properly inserted into the TV. Also, check that the batteries in the remote control are correctly inserted and have power.

To select the input source, press the INPUT button on the remote control to choose the relevant source you have connected, such as 'Component' for a video recorder.

To connect a DVD player, you can use the HDMI connector for a digital connection or the COMPONENT input for component video devices. For the COMPONENT input, use the red for Pr, blue for Pb, green for Y, red for right audio (R) and white for left audio (L) inputs.

To adjust the volume when the menu is not displayed, press the VOL+ or VOL- buttons on the remote control.

To adjust the video settings, press the Menu button to enter the main OSD. Navigate to the Video menu using the Navigation Ring. Here, you can adjust settings such as Picture Mode, Brightness, Contrast, Color Temp, Noise Reduction, Backlight, Aspect Ratio, and Preset items. Note that some adjustments may only be available in specific source modes, such as VGA.
