5) Bottle shelfo The lower shelf should be used for storing reasonably sizedbottles.IMPORTANT: IT IS IMPORTANT THAT NONE OF THE SHELVESTHAT SIT IN THE DOOR ARE OVERLOADED, AS THIS WILLDRASTICALLY REDUCE THEIR WORKING LIFE.Using your Haier larder fridgeBefore switching ono Make sure that it has been installed by a suitably qualifiedperson, as per the information contained in Baumatic’sinstallation instructions.o After delivery, wait for eight hours before connecting theappliance to your mains supply. This will allow any refrigerantgasses that may have been disturbed during the transportationprocess to settle.o The outside of the appliance and the removable accessoriescontained within it, should be cleaned with a solution of liquiddetergent and water.o The interior of the appliance should be cleanedwith a solution of sodium bicarbonate dissolved inlukewarm water. The interior and accessoriesshould be thoroughly dried, after the cleaningprocess has been completed.o There can be an odour when you first switch on the appliance. Itwill lessen as the appliance starts to cool.During first useo You should set the thermostat dial to its maximum setting for 24hours after switching on the appliance for the first time.o When you first switch on the appliance, the compressor will runcontinuously for approximately 24 hours or until the fridgefreezer reaches a cool enough temperature.o During this period of time, you should try not to open the doorfrequently or place a large amount of food within the appliance.o You should then adjust the thermostat dial down to its normaloperating position.10
