4DEFROSTINGRemove food from the ice box, wrap it andstore in a chilly bin.Switch off the appliance at the wall andleave the ice box door open, it will defrostautomatically. When the defrosting processhas finished, empty the drip-tray under theice box and wipe the ice box dry. Replacethe food and switch on the appliance.NOTES54~6mmDO NOT USE A KNIFE OR SHARPINSTRUMENT TO ASSIST WITH ICEREMOVAL.If the appliance is going to be out of use for any length oftime or put into storage, unplug and clean the interior asdescribed in the previous page.Dry thoroughly and store with the door open.To reduce energy consumption, do not leave the door openfor too long and dont’t open it too often.In the event of a power failure, try to keep the door closed tokeep the cool air inside for as long as possible.NOTES ON STORAGECLEANINGWhere necessary, food should bepacked in bags to avoid giving offstrong odours or getting freezerburn.Do not overstock the appliance withfood. Allow space among thepackages of food for air circulationand better cooling.Hot food or liquid must be allowed tocool to room temperaturebefore placing in the refrigerator.Always remove the plug before cleaning.Clean with lukewarm water containing a little detergent.Do not use hot water, corrosive scouring agent or anything rough.
