To connect an external device to the HDMI port, use an HDMI cable. Plug one end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI port on the TV (labeled as HDMI In) and the other end into the HDMI port on the external device. Ensure the device is powered on and set to the correct input source on the TV.

To troubleshoot audio issues, check the connections related to the audio components such as 'AOUTR', 'AOUTL', 'TV_RIN', and 'TV_LIN'.
