Getting startedLED Backlit Flat TV Instruction Manual EN-18EnPress thebutton to select the item that needsadjusting.Press the  button to adjust the selected item.When you are happy with your choice, press theEXIT button to return to normal viewing or press theMENU button to return to the previous menu.OSD language❖To select the menu language.DPMS❖In PC mode, the TV will automatically enter standby modeif no PC input signal is detected after 3 minutes. Theset will turn on and automatically enter PC modewhen the PC input is connected.Blue screen❖This will select the background colour.NoteThe blue screen function is only available in ATV❏mode.Shop mode❖Press the  button to select On/Off.Screen mode❖To set the picture proportions, press the  buttonto select 4:3/16:9/auto/wide/zoom1/zoom2. You canquickly select the desired mode using the SCREENbutton on the remote control.4:3 mode•Choose 4:3 when you want to view a picture in anoriginal 4:3 aspect ratio with grey bars appearingdown both the left and right sides.16:9 mode•Choose 16:9 when you want to adjust the picturehorizontally, in a linear proportion, to fill the entirescreen.Auto•Choose Auto when you want to view the originalpicture aspect ratio.Wide•Choose Wide when you want to adjust the picturein a non-linear proportion. That is, larger at the topsides and with no alteration on the bottom side.Zoom1•Choose Zoom1 when you want to view the picturewithout any alteration. Note that the top andbottom portions of the picture will be cropped.Zoom2•Choose Zoom2 when you want the picture to bealtered by being both vertically extended andcropped. The picture will be a trade off betweenalteration and screen coverage.Overscan❖This function is only active and visible inthe menu when the signal is ELA timing(480i/480p/720p/1080i/1080p) in the RGB colourspace in the HDMI/DVI input.OSD timeout❖To set how long you want the menus to appearon-screen. Press the  button repeatedly to selectthe number of preset seconds.
