About your LED LCD TVLED Backlit Flat TV Instruction Manual EN-10EnConnecting your TVAntenna connectionConnect your aerial to the back of the TV through theANTENNA IN socket.Improve your signalTo improve the picture quality in a poor signal area, usea signal amplifier (not supplied).Connect your PC to the TVYou can use your TV as a monitor for your personalcomputer by connecting it using a VGA cable (notsupplied).Read your computer user guide and check it has aAVGA connector.Turn off your TV and PC.BConnect a D-type 15-pin VGA interface cable to theC VGA video interface connector on the PC. Connectthe other end of the cable to the PC interfaceconnector on the TV. Tighten the screws on theVGA connectors and connect the audio cable (notsupplied) to the audio input socket on the back ofthe TV.First turn on the TV, and then the PC.DPress the Source button on the TV or TV remoteEcontrol to set the video input mode to PC.Once the image is displayed, and if sound can beFheard, change the PC mode to another resolution,change the refresh rate or adjust the brightness andcontrast on the menu until the picture is clear.Connect a DVD player to your TVConnect the DVD video outputs (Y, Pb, Pr) to theCOMPONENT IN (Y, Pb, Pr) socket on your TV.Turn on the DVD player and insert a DVD disc.APress the SOURCE button to select COMPONENTBmode.Refer to the DVD player user guide for operatingC instructions.DVDConnect a DVD player or VCR to your TVThere are two ways in which you can connect a DVDplayer or VCR to your TV. Make sure that both the TV andDVD player or VCR are switched off before you connectthem.SCART inputConnect the SCART lead from the external deviceA(DVD player, set-top box or games console) to the TVSCART socket.Press theB SOURCE button to select SCART mode.Press theC PLAY button on the external device.HDMI inputConnect the cable from the HDMI device to the TVA HDMI socket.Press theB SOURCE button to select HDMI mode.Refer to the HDMI device user guide for operatingCinstructions.
