Never stand on, lean on, or suddenly push the television or its stand. Pay special attention to children to prevent serious injury. Also, do not place the television on an unstable cart, stand, shelf, or table.
You can connect your PC to the Haier 40G2500 TV using the VGA port for a digital connection.
To adjust the volume, use the V+ or V- buttons on the front panel or the remote control. These buttons will increase or decrease the sound level, respectively.
To change the input source, press the SOURCE button on the front panel or the remote control. This will display the input source menu, allowing you to select the desired source.
You can connect a VCR, cable box, or other video equipment to the component (Y, Pb, Pr) and video input jacks. The YPbPr input supports various video formats including 480i, 576i, 480p, 576p, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p.
To turn on and off the TV, press the power button (1) on the remote control.
To adjust the picture settings, go to the 'Picture' menu. Use the arrow keys to select the setting you want to adjust (e.g., contrast, brightness, color, sharpness, tint, color temperature, etc.), and press OK to make changes. Note that if you adjust these settings, the picture mode will be set to 'user'.
To change the password, go to the Lock Menu, enter the old password, then input and confirm the new password.
The MPAA settings offer the following movie-rating control levels: N/A, G, PG, PG-13, R, NC-17, and X. Each of these ratings corresponds to different levels of content suitability for various age groups.
