The Haier 34P9A Colour Television can store 218 programmes.

The 'Dynamic noise reduction' feature in the Haier 34P9A Colour Television helps to improve the picture quality by reducing noise and interference, providing a clearer viewing experience.

For troubleshooting issues with the remote controller board, refer to the TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE section on page 15 of the manual. This section provides solutions to common problems.

To clean the TV set safely, first pull out the power plug from the AC outlet. Use a dry soft cotton cloth to clean the picture tube. Do not use any cleaner or abrasive cloth. Avoid using benzene, petrol, and other chemicals to clean the cabinet and the screen.

If the TV set is not going to be used for a long time, or during a severe thunder and lightning storm, it is recommended that you disconnect the TV set from the AC power outlet and remove the aerial plug.

To connect an antenna to the Haier 34P9A TV, you can use either a coaxial cable (75Ω) or a twin-lead cable (300Ω). For a coaxial cable, insert the antenna plug into the 75Ω socket. For a twin-lead cable, shape the cable as shown in figure D, connect the leads to an antenna adapter, and then insert the adapter into the 75Ω socket.

To mute the sound, press the 'MUTE' button on the remote controller.

To change the language settings, press the CH+/- buttons to select LANGUAGE, then press the VOL+/- buttons to select the desired OSD language.

To set the sleep timer, press the VOL+ button. Each press will increase the sleep time by 10 minutes, up to a maximum of 180 minutes.

Ensure that the power supply is connected to the TV set and turned on. Also, check that the TV set is not in 'Listen Mode' or that the brightness and contrast are not turned down. If the issue persists, consult with your local authorized service center.
