Haier 29T9G Operating Instructions Manual

The Haier 29T9G television has an auto search tuning feature that allows you to automatically search and store up to 250 programs. To use this feature, follow the instructions provided in the manual to initiate the auto search process.

To clean the TV set safely, always pull out the power plug from the AC outlet before cleaning. Avoid using benzene, petrol, and other chemicals on the cabinet and screen.

If the TV set is not going to be used for a long time, or there is a severe thunder and lightning storm, it is recommended that the TV set be disconnected from the AC power outlet and the aerial plug removed.

To turn on the TV set, press the power switch button on the front panel. To turn it off, press the button again.

The TV has several input options including S-Video input, AUDIO/VIDEO input, YUV-DVD component input, and Antenna input. Additionally, there is an AUDIO/VIDEO output for connecting external devices.

To connect a DVD player to the Haier 29T9G TV using component cables, connect the DVD player's component outputs (Y, R, and G) to the corresponding inputs on the TV (Y, R, and G). Ensure that the DVD player is set to output component video and the TV is set to the correct input source.

To adjust the picture settings, press the [MENU] key to select the PICTURE menu. Use the [P+] or [P-] keys to select the desired function (Brightness, Contrast, Color, Sharpness, or Tint). Use the [V+] or [V-] keys to adjust the value. Note that the TINT control will only appear if an NTSC signal is being received.

To set the sleep timer, press the [MENU] key to select the TIME menu. Use the [P+] or [P-] keys to select SLEEP TIME. Then, use the [V+] or [V-] keys to set the timer duration, which can range from 0 to 180 minutes in 10-minute increments.

To turn the AVL feature on or off, use the [V+] or [V-] key. This will toggle the AVL feature.
