The Haier 29FA1 television can store up to 250 programs.
To clean the TV set safely, always pull out the power plug from the AC outlet first. Avoid using benzene, petrol, and other chemicals to clean the cabinet and the screen.
If the TV set is not going to be used for a long time, or there is a severe thunder and lightning storm, it is recommended that the TV set be disconnected from the AC power outlet and the aerial plug removed.
To turn on the TV set, press the power switch button. To turn it off, press the power switch button again.
The Haier 29FA1 TV has several audio and video inputs, including S-Video input, AUDIO/VIDEO input, YUV-DVD component input, and Antenna input. Additionally, it has an AUDIO/VIDEO output.
To switch between TV and AV modes, use the TV/AV button on the remote controller. This button allows you to toggle between the TV input and the AV input, enabling you to view content from different sources.
To adjust the picture settings, press the [MENU] key to select the PICTURE menu. Use the [P+] or [P-] keys to select the desired function (Brightness, Contrast, Colour, Sharpness, or Tint). Use the [V+] or [V-] keys to adjust the value. Note that the TINT control will only appear if an NTSC signal is being received.
To set the clock and timer functions, press the [MENU] key to select the TIME menu. Use the [P+] or [P-] keys to select the desired item (CLOCK, ON-TIME, OFF-TIME, SLEEP TIME, or REMIND TIME). Use the [V+] or [V-] keys to adjust the minutes and hours. For ON-TIME, OFF-TIME, or REMIND TIME, use the [P+] or [P-] keys to select ON PROG and use the [V+] or [V-] keys to change the On-Program number. For SLEEP TIME, use the [P+] or [P-] keys to select SLEEP TIME and use the [V+] or [V-] keys to adjust the sleep timer from 0 to 180 minutes.
To turn the Auto Volume Level (AVL) on or off, use the [V+] or [V-] key. This will toggle the AVL feature.
If there is no sound coming from your TV, check the following: ensure the power plug is properly inserted into the AC outlet, the main power is turned on, and the volume and sound mute settings are correctly adjusted. Additionally, check for interference from electric appliances such as automobiles, motors, vehicles, or fluorescent lamps.
