To use the auto search tuning feature, follow the instructions provided in the manual. This feature allows the television to automatically search and store up to 250 programs.

To clean the TV set safely, always pull out the power plug from the AC outlet before cleaning. Avoid using benzene, petrol, and other chemicals to clean the cabinet and the screen.

If the TV set is not going to be used for a long time, or there is a severe thunder and lightning storm, it is recommended that the TV set be disconnected from the AC power outlet and the aerial plug removed.

To turn on the TV, press the power switch button on the front panel. To turn it off, press the power switch button again.

The Haier 29F99 TV offers several input options including S-VIDEO input, AUDIO/VIDEO input, YUV-DVD component input, and Antenna input. Additionally, it has AUDIO/VIDEO output for connecting external devices.

To lock the TV, push the [ ] key to bring up the lock menu. You can then select and configure various lock functions such as GENERAL LOCK, CHILD LOCK, AV LOCK, and VOL LIMIT SW. Use the [P+] [P-] keys to select each function and the [V+] [V-] keys to change the values. Enter the password you defined to confirm the settings.

To set the clock, press the [MENU] key to select TIME, then use the [P+] or [P-] key to select CLOCK. Use the [P+] or [P-] key to select minutes, then use the [V+] or [V-] key to change the minutes from 00 to 59. Press [P+] or [P-] key to select hours, then use the [V+] or [V-] key to change the hours from 0 to 23.

To adjust the brightness and contrast, select the PICTURE menu using the [MENU] key. Use the [P+] or [P-] key to select BRIGHTNESS or CONTRAST. Then, use the [V+] or [V-] key to adjust the value as needed.

To turn the Auto Volume Level (AVL) on or off, use the [V+] or [V-] key. This will toggle the AVL feature.

If you see a picture with snow, double or triple image, or noise, check the direction, station, and connection of the antenna. Ensure that the antenna is properly aligned and connected to the TV.
