The Haier 21F9G television can store up to 250 programs with its auto search tuning feature.

To clean the TV set safely, always pull out the power plug from the AC outlet first. Avoid using benzene, petrol, and other chemicals to clean the cabinet and the screen.

If the TV set is not going to be used for a long time, or there is a severe thunder and lightning storm, it is recommended that the TV set be disconnected from the AC power outlet and the aerial plug removed.

To turn on the TV set, press the power switch button. To turn off the TV set, press the power switch button again.

The TV has several input options including S-Video input, AUDIO/VIDEO input, YUV-DVD component input, and Antenna input. Additionally, there is an AUDIO/VIDEO output for connecting external devices.

To connect a DVD player using component cables, connect the red, green, and blue component cables from the DVD player to the corresponding component input ports on the TV (labeled R, G, B). Additionally, connect the white and red audio cables from the DVD player to the corresponding audio input ports on the TV (labeled W and R).

To adjust the picture settings, press the [MENU] key to select PICTURE. Use the [P+] or [P-] keys to select the desired function (Brightness, Contrast, Colour, Sharpness, Tint). Use the [V+] or [V-] keys to adjust the value. Note that the Tint control will only appear if an NTSC signal is being received.

To set the clock and timer functions, press the [MENU] key to select TIME. Use the [P+] or [P-] keys to select the item (CLOCK, ON-TIME, OFF-TIME, SLEEP TIME, or REMIND TIME). Use the [P+] or [P-] keys to select minutes or hours, then use the [V+] or [V-] keys to change the values. For ON-TIME, OFF-TIME, or REMIND TIME, use the [P+] or [P-] keys to select ON PROG, and use the [V+] or [V-] keys to change the On-Program number. For SLEEP TIME, use the [V+] or [V-] keys to set the timer from 0 to 180 minutes.

To turn the Auto Volume Level (AVL) on or off, use the [V+] or [V-] key. This will toggle the AVL feature.

To navigate and change the date in the calendar function, first use the [P+] or [P-] key to select the CALENDAR. Once the calendar appears on the screen, use the [P+] or [P-] key to change the month and the [V+] or [V-] key to change the year.
