To prepare the remote control for use, follow the instructions under 'Preparation for the remote control' on page 3 of the manual.

The power indicator light on the Haier 15F6B shows whether the device is turned on or off. It is located on the front or side panel of the device.
To switch between TV and other available video inputs, press the TV/AV button on the remote control.
If the TV is left idle for 15 minutes with the screen protection feature enabled and there is no signal, the TV will automatically change into standby status.
To turn the saving mode on or off, press the QSET button. The screen will display 'on' or 'off' accordingly. If you press and hold the QSET button for more than 3 seconds, it will call the ENERGY SAVE menu.
If the color is abnormal on a certain channel, it may be due to an improperly set color system. You should adjust the color system to the proper setting. Refer to page 7 of the manual for instructions on how to adjust the color system.
To set the 'Timer Off' function, press the MENU button continuously until you select the TIMER menu. Use the VOL+/- buttons to enter. Then, press the CH+/- button to move the indicator to OFF TIMER, and use the VOL+/- button to set the desired time. Finally, press the CH+/- button to move the indicator to CLOCK, and use the VOL+/- button to set the current time.
The 'Timer Off' function allows you to automatically turn the TV set into standby status at a preconcerted time. This can be useful for conserving energy or ensuring the TV turns off at a specific time.
To set the sleep timer, press the button repeatedly. The screen will display the available off-times, which range from 10 to 120 minutes in 10-minute intervals. Select the desired time to activate the sleep timer.
