Installation work and electrical wiringmust be done by qualified person(s) inaccordance with all applicable codes andstandards, including fire-rated construction.B. Sufficient air is needed for propercombustion and exhausting of gasesthrough the flue (chimney) of fuel burningequipment to prevent back drafting. Followthe heating equipment manufacturer’sguidelines and safety standards suchas those published by the National FireProtection Association (NFPA), theAmerican Society for Heating, Refrigerationand Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE)and the local code authorities.C. When cutting or drilling into wall or ceiling,do not damage electrical wiring and otherhidden utilities.D. Ducted fans must always be vented to theoutdoors.E.
