Donot operate the welder in humid,wet, rainy, or poorly ventilatedareas.● Be sure that the work piece isproperly supported and groundedprior to beginning any electric arcwelding operation.● Coiled welding cable should bespread out before use to avoidoverheating and damage toinsulation.Never immerse theelectrode orelectrode holder in water. If the welderbecomes wet for any reason, beabsolutely certain that it is completelyclean and dry prior to attempting use!● Always shut the equipment off andunplug the power prior to movingthe unit.● Always attach the ground lead first.● Verify that the work piece issecurely grounded.● Always shut off electric arc weldingequipment when not in use andremove the electrode from theholder.● Never allow any part of the body totouch the electrode and ground orgrounded work piece at the sametime.● Awkward welding conditions andpositions can be electricallyhazardous. When crouching,kneeling or at elevations, be sure toinsulate all conductive parts, wearappropriate protective clothing, andtake precautions to prevent injuryfrom falls.● Never attempt to use thisequipment at current settings orduty cycles higher than thosespecified on the equipment labels.!
