CH-1101PAGE 3IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONSThe use of accessories or attachments•not supplied with the appliance is notrecommended.Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hands,•hair, clothing, as well as spatulas and otherutensils away from the appliance duringoperation to reduce the risk of injury to persons,and/or damage to the appliance.Do not continuously operate the appliance for•too long. The motor may overheat. It can beoperated without interruption for a maximumof 1 minute and should be allowed to cooldown for approximately 3 minutes before thenext operation.Take care when handling the sharp blades and•during cleaning.Never process very hot liquids. DANGER OF•SCALDING!Never fill the bowl with liquids of any kind.•Do not operate any appliance with a damaged•cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctionsor is dropped or damaged in any manner. Returnthe appliance to the nearest authorised servicefacility for examination, repair or electrical ormechanical adjustment.Do not use the appliance with an extension•power board.Always clean the appliance components•thoroughly when changing betweeningredients, particularly after chopping meat.Do not use the unit to chop hard ingredients•such as coffee beans, ice cubes, mixturescontaining fruit stones cereals and chocolatein lumps as these may damage the blades.
