17Turning on for the first timeControl iconsThese icons allow you to lock the screen, access the WindowsHome screen, and change or remove the shortcut icons. Theymay not be removed.Changing or removing shortcutsTap to add, change or delete thechangeable shortcuts.If you tap the + on a shortcutplaceholder that is not occupied, youwill be taken directly to a screen thatlists all the applications available onyour smartphone.If you tap on an already-definedshortcut, you will be asked if you wantto change the shortcut or if you wantto remove the shortcut. Tap Cancel toretain the shortcut.Tap to save your changes and exit.Icon DescriptionLocks the screen: Swipe the Lock icon to the left orright to unlock the screen.Opens the Windows Home screen.Allows you to change or add icons (you can addthree more icons) to the Today screen.
