When ordering FRU parts, always check the most up-to-date information available on your regional web or channel. If there have been any part number changes, they will not be noted in the printed Service Guide. For Acer-Authorized Service Providers, use the list provided by your regional Acer office to order FRU parts for repair and service of customer machines.

The Acer AT2230 monitor requires a video input signal to operate properly. If there is no video input signal, the monitor will appear to be non-functional. Ensure that the video input signal is correctly connected and active for the monitor to display an image.

If you encounter an abnormal display, you should first check the source. If the source is OK, then check the signal filter circuit. If the filter or resistance needs to be replaced, do so. If the issue persists, check the RF signal input. If the input is OK, check the LVDS cable. If the LVDS cable is faulty, replace it. If the cable is OK, check the panel and the TV system setup. If these are OK, check the tuner. If the tuner is faulty, replace it. If the panel is faulty, replace it.

To troubleshoot a faulty LVDS cable, first check the LVDS cable. If it is faulty, replace the LVDS cable. If replacing the cable does not resolve the issue, you may need to check other components such as the panel or the tuner.

First, check the 12V input. If it's okay, then check the adapter or the motherboard. If the ON/OFF switch is functioning correctly, check the interface board. If the interface board is okay, check IC801. If IC801 is not functioning correctly, change it. If the issue persists, check the input of Q805 and Q806. If they are not functioning correctly, change Q805, Q806, D801, D802, D803, and Q804. If the output of PT802 is not functioning correctly, change PT802. Finally, check the connector and the lamp.

To troubleshoot the ON/OFF switch, first check if the switch is functioning correctly. If it is not, change the ON/OFF switch. If the switch is functioning correctly, proceed to check IC801 and follow the subsequent steps as outlined in the manual.

You should allow approximately 30 minutes for the device to warm up before proceeding with the white balance adjustment.

The LineMute and EarMuteB functions are controlled by transistors Q609 and Q607, respectively. These transistors, along with their associated resistors (e.g., R636, R637, R645), are used to mute the audio lines. When activated, these functions likely cut off the audio signal to the respective outputs, effectively muting the line or earphone output.

The device has an ON/OFF switch labeled as 'DIM' on the power board.

The heat sinks (HS1, HS2, HS3) are used to dissipate heat from components such as Q901, D904, and D906, respectively, ensuring they operate within safe temperature ranges.
