To connect an external audio/video device such as a DVD, VCR, STB, or audio/video equipment, refer to the instructions on page 12 of the user manual. For connecting a camera, camcorder, or video game, see page 13. For connecting a PC or notebook computer, see page 14.
To navigate the On-Screen Display (OSD) with the remote control, follow the instructions provided on page 15 of the user manual. This will guide you through adjusting the OSD settings as needed.
If the remote control will not be used for a long time, remove the batteries. Use the remote control carefully. Do not drop the remote control on the floor. Keep it away from moisture, direct sunlight, and high temperatures. If it still does not work, consider replacing the batteries.
To change the input source, press the 'Input key' on the front panel. This button is located at position 9. When the On-Screen Display (OSD) is on, press this button to confirm your selection.
Press the MUTE button (11) to toggle the audio on and off.
To adjust the picture quality, press the Menu key to open the OSD. Use the directional keys to select 'Picture' and then navigate to the specific picture element you wish to adjust. Use the left or right keys to adjust the sliding scales for settings like Scenario Mode, Brightness, Contrast, Hue, Colour, and Sharpness.
To change the sound settings, press the Menu key to bring up the OSD. Use the directional keys to select 'Sound' and then navigate to the feature you wish to adjust. Use the left or right keys to adjust the sliding scale for settings like Scenario Mode, Treble, Bass, Balance, Steady Sound, and Sound Effect. Press OK to save your changes.
To change the default setting of the Empowering Key, press the MENU key on the remote control to bring up the On-Screen Display (OSD). Use the directional keys to navigate and select 'Empowering key settings.' Then, select the setting you wish to use and press OK. Finally, press MENU to exit.
To skip certain channels, use the directional keys to select the channels you want to skip and press OK to confirm. These channels will be automatically skipped when using the CH key to select channels later, but you can still manually select them if needed.
To re-scan for new channels, press the MENU key on the remote control to bring up the On-Screen Display (OSD). Use the directional keys to navigate to Management, then highlight Auto Scan. Select Start and press OK to begin the scanning process.
