|  AcerRouter 700 Series User GuideStep 5 Enter the following information:Rule No.: a number used for identification purposes.Rule Name: a name by which you will refer to this rule.Interface: the specific WAN interface this new selection rule will applyto.Local IP Address: the IP address(es) of the local devices this new rulewill apply to. You can select a single IP address, a range of IP addresses,a network, or any IP addresses. The screen may change to show fieldsyou need to fill out accordingly. For example, if you select range, you willalso see (From) and (To) fields where you need to fill out the starting IPaddress and the ending IP address.Local Port: the port number(s) of the local devices this new rule willapply to. See Table 7-1 for some examples of TCP/IP port assignments.Remote IP Address: the IP address(es) of the remote devices this newrule will apply to. You can select a single IP address, a range of IPaddresses, a network, or any IP addresses. The screen may change toshow fields you need to fill out accordingly.
